Kosha Patel – “Deepa”

Jason Wong – Director

Jason Wong is an award-winning film writer-director and recent MFA graduate from the University of Southern Califorina’s School of Cinematic Arts.   During his time at USC, Jason’s body of work has been honored with multiple awards, including the prestigious Peter Stark producing grant for his thesis film Second Best.  He has also worked as an assistant to 3-time Oscar-winning director, Mark Harris, and ACE award winning editor, Kate Amend, teaching directing and editing skills.

Puja Mohindra – “Taila”

A Chicago native, Puja Mohindra is a recent graduate of the MFA Acting program at A.C.T. (American Conservatory Theater) in San Francisco. She will next appear in the new JJ Abrams show, “Undercovers,” on NBC as perky journalist, Jennifer Anthony.   On TV, she has been seen on “Three Rivers,” “Miami Medial, “CSI:  Miami,” “Ghost Whisper,” “All My Children,” and the Michael Tolkin HBO pilot, “1%.”

Her recent film work includes a supporting role in the comedic feature, “I’m Not Like That No More,” where she played alongside comedians Paul Rodriguez and Felipe Esparza, the winner of “Last Comic Standing.”   The comedy went to more than 25 film festivals this year…

Rupa Magge – Writer

Rupa Magge is a graduate of Dartmouth College and USC School of Cinematic Arts Graduate Screenwriting Program. She’s currently a writer on USA’s hit show, IN PLAIN SIGHT. During her first year at USC, Rupa was awarded the  writing division’s Gene Autry Writing Scholarship. In addition, one of her short  scripts, “Second Best” was chosen by the Peter Stark faculty to be produced. During her second year, Rupa was the recipient of the CBS/NAACP Writing Fellowship and was accepted to the prestigious CBS Diversity Institute Writing Mentoring Program under the guidance of Thom Sherman, Carole Kirschner and Christopher Davidson. Additionally, Rupa was named a Finalist for the Disney/ABC TV Fellowship. She was also hired as a writer for Fox Television Studio’s Think Tank to create new media projects…

Duncan Bravo – “Raajesh”

Duncan Bravo has been acting since he was a teenager, spanning a career of over 20 years, and has performed in many feature-length movies, TV shows, and TV commercials. He has also appeared as a print model to represent companies such as Microsoft, Nokia, and Canon, and does Voice-over work for radio commercials as well.

Duncan feels his greatest asset is his family, and is very thankful for all the wonderful support from his parents, his wife, and his two daughters. He was thrilled to be chosen as the Dad for “Second Best”…

Justin Bell – Producer

Justin Bell is a creative feature film and television producer based in Los Angeles. He’s currently an associate producer on two TV movies for NBC, “Magic Eye” and “Desmond Walker,” set for broadcast in early 2011. Justin has several other projects in active development, and serves as the director of the Act One Producing & Entertainment Executive Program.

Justin is the former director of development & production for Academy Award-winning producer Edward Saxon (Silence of the Lambs). He has helped Mr. Saxon produce two major motions pictures, Away We Go (2009) at Focus Features, directed by Sam Mendes, and Our Family Wedding (2010) at Fox Searchlight, starring Forest Whitaker and America Ferrera. Abhi Sinha – “Sunil”

Abhi Sinha is an up and coming actor who has been featured in several TV Shows like How I Met Your Mother, The Ghost Whisperer, CSI Miami and Melissa and Joey.  He can be seen on the Big Screen in David Fincher’s Oscar Nominated film, The Social Network.  Most recently he had a supporting role in Mark Pellington’s thriller I Melt With You alongside Rob Lowe, Jeremy Piven, Thomas Jane and Christian McKay.  Melt premiered at Sundance in January 2011 and was picked up by Magnolia pictures for national and worldwide distribution.  In addition, he has wrapped  up filming on  Andrew Niccol’s  Now starring Justin Timberlake and Dreamwork’s Welcome To People…

Jon Michael Kondrath – Producer

Jon Michael Kondrath has been working on film and television productions for the past seven years. He first became interested in directing and producing while attending Flintridge Prep in La Cañada, CA with the opportunity of directing the stage production of Neil Simon’s “The Good Doctor.”  Jon went on to attend the University of Southern California where he received his BA in Cinema Television.

While attending USC, Jon worked at the award-winning television station, Trojan Vision, as the General Manager for two years where he directed and produced over a hundreds hours of television programming.  During his tenure at Trojan Vision the station received two Telly awards, was proclaimed as the best college television station by SPIN Magazine, and became the go-to production hub for on-campus video production, as well as outside clients such as ESPN, Fox College Sports, the Children’s Hospital, and the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences…

Pramod Kumar – “Vishwa”

Indian Actor/ Producer Pramod Kumar was born in Jabalpur, India. He became interested in acting at a very young age. “My friends used to tell me that I wasn’t just bitten by the acting bug, I got mauled by the acting cougar.” He frequented movies and Plays until he finally decided to pursue theater at the young age 10.

He took a small break from acting to complete his masters in chemistry from Robertson College of science in India. With all his past success he longed for the chance to make it in Hollywood. Finally, in 1998, with his wife Pooja’s support he decided it was time to make the move to Los Angeles…

Rebecca Larsen – Producer

Vijay Rathi – “Vinod”

Vijay Rathi, who spent much of his professional life as an attorney, began acting about four years ago when he audited a class at a local theatre company.  After extensive training at Larry Moss Studios and the Stella Adler Academy, he made his first stage appearance at a comedy showcase at the MetaTheate company in Los Angeles.  Vijay then began auditioning for television and commercials, quickly becoming eligible to join the Screen Actors Guild and booking roles in several independent feature films, including Epoh, The Cheapest Man in the Room, Travelers and, most recently, Second Best…

Adam Habib – Cinematographer

Adam Habib’s cinematography has screened at festivals around the world, including the International Film Festival Rotterdam and the Sundance Film Festival, as well as on national cable (Lifetime Network).  In 2010 he was nominated for the American Society of Cinematographers Heritage Award for his work on the short film “Before I Wake.”  He has served on the faculty at the University of Southern California and Ngee Ann Polytechnic in Singapore. He earned his MFA in Cinematography from USC’s School of Cinematic Arts, where he was a Thomas Moore Scholar, and is currently completing a yearlong Residency in Camera & Staging at Pixar Animation Studios.

Austin Wintory – Composer

Austin Wintory began his obsession with film scoring back when he was ten years old, when he discovered Jerry Goldsmith’s scores to PATTON and A PATCH OF BLUE. Now, his obsession having mutated into a career of his own, his scores can be heard in more than 200 productions, including over twenty feature films, such as 2009′s Sundance hit GRACE. He’s also scored a handful of video games, including the widely acclaimed Playstation-3 game FLOW, for which Austin received a British Academy Award nomination…

Kara Sullivan – Casting Director

Kara Sullivan has been a casting director since 2003 and is the proud owner of Kara Sullivan Casting a casting company located in Los Angeles, the entertainment capital. Kara’s company casts features, shorts, webisodes and commercials. Matthew Hoklotubbe – Associate Producer

After graduating with a B.A. in Film Studies from UC Santa Barbara, Matt Hoklotubbe began his film career like most people in the industry: working for free, if not at his own expense. He interned for Montecito Picture Company and Vertigo Entertainment before settling on his final internship with oscar-winning producer Ed Saxon. It proved to be his most fulfilling and inspiring experience and eventually helped him land an entry level job at Imagine Entertainment, the Ron Howard and Brian Grazer headed production company. After working for president of production Kim Roth, he now serves as Creative Assistant to the VP of Motion Pictures, Sarah Bowen.
